A man remains in “serious but stable condition” after scaffolding fell on him and a colleague in Cricklewood.
Police were called to Cricklewood Broadway at 11.40 am on February 16 to reports of two males injured after “falling from a height”.
The scaffolding gave way between Iceland and the Crown pub as the London Ambulance Service, London Air Ambulance and the London Fire Brigade scrambled to the scene.
Both men were taken to a central London hospital, one with possible life-threatening injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. His injuries are no longer thought to be life-threatening but are possibly life-changing.
“We believe this to be a workplace accident and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
A spokesman for HSE, said: “I have spoken to our inspectors in the area and I can confirm HSE are aware and investigating this incident.”
