Man from Ealing arrested after tube passenger from Brent is bitten by a dog

Victim, 55, received three puncture wounds to the groin during attack on Picadilly Lane

A man has been arrested after a tube passenger from Brent was bitten by a dog while travelling on the Piccadilly Line.

Yesterday, officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) held the 30-year-old from Ealing, on suspicion of possessing a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.

The victim, 55, was attacked as he travelled between Ealing Common and Park Royal on May 20 around 6.30pm.

He suffered three puncture wounds in his crotch that required hospital treatment.

The man has been bailed to return to a police station on July 11.
