Sport centre sealed off while police hunt for clues
A MAN is fighting for his life after he was found unconscious in playing fields near a sport centre this morning (Friday).
The man, who is in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with facial injuries and suspected hypothermia after he was discovered yards from Vale Farm Sports Centre in Watford Road, Sudbury, at 7.30am.
He was taken to a hospital by air ambulance where he is in a critical condition.
Detectives believe he may have been drinking the night before and fallen asleep in the grassed area.
The area around the sports centre has been cordoned off as detectives search for clues.
