Maida Hill residents pull together to clean up neighbourhood

Two-day initiative is latest project by community action group

A COMMUNITY group is set to spruce up its neighbourhood with a spring clean this weekend and is looking for eager helpers.

People of all ages have already pledged to muck in and help tidy-up the Maida Hill area starting with the market at 12pm on Saturday, March 19.

Organised by Harrow Road Neighbourhood Partnership’s Environmental Action Group, residents are invited to come along and suggest areas that need some love and attention before getting to work.

Equipment for the two-day initiative will be supplied by HRNP and Veolia while free refreshments will be available from the Maida Hill Caf.
