Illegal immigrants were rooted out in Willesden following a joined operation by Brent Police and the UK border agency.
Dudden Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team partnered with immigration officers to find people who are in the country unlawfully or are not following the regulations of ‘entry and stay’ within the UK.
A number of people were asked to attend the UK Border Agency Headquarters at later dates for further investigation.
A police spokesman said: “Police, working proactively with the border agency, helps create better outcomes for both agencies. We are identifying more people who are breaking the rules, which we are tackling.
“Unscrupulous employers are also more easily identified and dealt with through the courts. It also gives us the opportunity to gather intelligence which is shared and used by both agencies.”
