Liberal Democrat members in the Brent Central constituency will be selecting a prospective parliamentary candidate to replace Sarah Teather who will step down at the next General Elections.
Local activist Lauren Keith, relationship coach Ajmal Masroor, economics Lecturer Anuja Prashar and party fundraiser Ibrahim Taguri are in contention for the post.
Party members will vote from a shortlist of four candidates at a members only meeting in late December.
Sarah Teather who became the country’s youngest MP when she won Brent East by-election a decade ago, announced she will not be stand at the upcoming election in early September.
Former Brent South Labour MP Dawn Butler who lost the battle for the Brent Central seat against Ms Teather was selected to run for it again on Saturday.
