BOOKWORMS and their families enjoyed the newly opened Kilburn Library Gardens after the former dump was transformed into a reading and children's play area.
The event raised more than �300 by selling plants and refreshments donated by local businesses.
The money will go towards further improvements to the garden in Salusbury Road, Kilburn.
