The Reggae Reggae sauce creator visited Capital City Academy
Pupils in Willesden enjoyed a taste of the Caribbean in the company of celebrity chef Levi Roots.
The entrepreneur, famed for his Reggae Reggae Sauce creation, visited Capital City Academy in Doyle Gardens yesterday.
During his visit, Mr Roots- who rose to fame after taming the fiery Dragon’s Den team on the BBC TV show to get investment in his product- spoke to pupils about his journey offering business tips.
He also gave prizes to students including a signed bottle of Reggae Reggae sauce and answered questions about his life.
Helen Rattray, Business Studies Teacher at the school in Doyle Gardens, said: “It was fantastic having Levi visit the Academy. He inspired and engaged the students and made them realise that anything is possible. We hope this insight will give the students the entrepreneurial spirit and belief to start their own business one day.”
Mr Roots, real name Keith Valentine Graham Bilal Musa, who was also a musician prior to his culinary ventures, has previously performed with Maxi Priest and James Brown.
