Students achieve As and A stars

This morning’s A-Level achievements have continued to flood in, this time from Kingbury.

Pupils from Kingsbury High School, in Princes Avenue, boasted a fantastic set of results.

Although the overall pass rates had not come to the school as yet there were still some notable individual achievements.

Students Anjna Vekaria and Kishan Jethwa were among the top performers achieving 2 A stars and 3 A’s and 2 A stars and 2 A’s respectively.

Large amounts of students achieved A’s or above across the board including Jazmin Victory who received 3 A’s and Ahsanullah Wahedi who landed 1 A star and 3 A’s.

Speaking to the Times, Jeremy Waxman, the school’s head teacher paid tribute to all involved.

He said: “There were many happy faces at Kingsbury High this morning as students arrived to collect their A level results. The vast majority made the grades required to meet their university offers and there were a number of outstanding performances.

“The results are a tribute to the commitment of our staff, the hard work of our students and the support of their parents.

“Our students have worked incredibly hard and thoroughly deserve their successes.”
