Claremont High School has been nominated as a young enterprise centre of excellence
A top school has been nominated as a young enterprise centre of excellence for their work in strengthening the business skills of its students.
Claremont High School, in Claremont Avenue, Kingsbury, won plaudits for developing a project in which a group of sixth formers set up a real life company marketing and selling their products to the community.
Brian Wall, director of teaching for business studies and ICT, said: “We are really honoured that we have been identified by young enterprise as a centre of excellence.
“The students have put in a lot of work over the last couple of years to build that up and they are justifiably very proud.”
