Matt Wolstenholme will aim to make ‘keepy-uppy’ history
A personal trainer from Kingsbury who could barely walk 10 years ago will attempt to juggle a football for the longest ever distance.
Matt Wolstenholme, of Kingsbury Road, will aim to create a ‘keepy-uppy’ world record by keeping the ball in the air without using his hands for at least 20 kilometres.
The 30-year-old will carry out the five-hour long mission by doing 50 laps around the athletics track at Harrow School this Thursday.
Mr Wolstenhome was struck down with a mystery back condition which left him in chronic pain and barely able to walk in his early 20s.
The former journalist regained full mobility through a strict exercise regime which prompted him to make a career change.
He said: “When my back was bad a trip to the kitchen for a cup of tea was a big journey, so I would never have envisaged doing something like this.”
