A Kilburn man who turned his life around with help from The Prince’s Trust was chosen to represent London at the youth charity’s star studded youth forum.
Ronnie Mooney was one of 23 Prince’s Trust young people chosen to ask questions to singer Emeli Sande, Jameela Jamil, Laura Whitmore, rapper Wretch 32, actor Ed Skrein and actor and director Adam Deacon.
The celebrities were on hand at the event last week to offer advice and inspiration to young people while sharing their stories of how they have overcome the odds to achieve success in their careers.
The 22-year-old was tasked with quizzing the celebrity ambassadors on behalf of young people who are worried about the GCSE results which are out tomorrow.

The forum, supported by HSBC, was live streamed through The Prince’s Trust Facebook page, and comes at a time when thousands of young people are waiting for exam results and making tough decisions about their next steps in life.
Mr Mooney now works as a Prince’s Trust job ambassador mainly in the Kilburn area where he speaks to local organisations about potential employment opportunities for young people.
He said: “I really enjoyed being here today. As a job ambassador for The Trust I work with young people every day who are looking for inspiration. I left school without many qualifications but I kept believing in myself and thanks to help from The Trust I was able to achieve my ambitions.”
