A Kilburn charity has launched a nationwide appeal to provide aid for the ‘Big Winter Aid Drop for Syria’ campaign this weekend.

As winter kicks in, British medical and humanitarian relief charity Hand in Hand for Syria (HIHS) at 254 Kilburn High Road, is asking for donations of blankets, winter clothing and basic medical equipment.

All donations will be delivered directly to families inside Syria who have little, or no, access to aid.

Collection points have been set up in Kilburn and Chalk Farm.
