A FOURTEEN year-old boy was stabbed twice on Monday night as detectives launched an appeal for information and witnesses.

The vicious attack happened around 5pm at the junction of Belsize Road and Abbey Road in Kilburn, before the London Ambulance service called Camden police.

The victim, who was found with two stab wounds, was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in a stable condition.

With no arrests and enquiries continuing as the Times went to press, Detective Constable Abid khan from Camden's Serious Violence Unit, said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have seen or heard something to get in touch."
