Some Brent residents will benefit from the forthcoming 24-hour Tube service after transport bosses revealed today the Jubilee line will run around the clock.
From September 12 a total of five lines will run through the night in a move that Transport for London say will boost the city’s economy by £360million.
Trains will run approximately every 10 minutes across the entire on the Jubilee and Victoria lines.
Whereas trains on the Central line will run around every 10 minutes between White City and Leytonstone and approximately every 20 minutes between Ealing Broadway to White City and Leytonstone to Loughton/ Hainault.
There will be no service between North Acton and West Ruislip, Loughton and Epping and Woodford and Hainault.
On the Northern Line trains will run on average every eight minutes between Morden and Camden Town and around every 15 minutes from Camden Town to High Barnet / Edgware.
However there is no service on the Mill Hill East and Bank branches
Piccadilly line trains will run every 10 minutes between Cockfosters and Heathrow Terminal 5 but there is no service on the Terminal 4 loop, or between Acton Town and Uxbridge.
TfL also plan to expand the 24-hour service to parts of the Metropolitan, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines once a modernisation programmes has ended.
In addition services could operate on parts of the London Overground in 2017 and the Docklands Light Railway by 2021.
Night time travellers will be charged standard off-peak fares.
