A game of hopscotch might be out of the question due to the state of the pavements on a street in Kingsbury.

The cracked paving in Birchen Close has been dubbed the “worst pavement in Brent” by a Times reader Daren Boyle who sent this image to us.

The 40-year-old said: “The pavement has been bad for a few weeks, but recently it has completely disintegrated.

“Luckily enough, it is a very quiet road on a cul-de-sac, but there are still elderly people living here and small children. It is only a matter of time until someone injures themselves.”
