QPR midfielder Tom Carroll is a doubt for Rangers’ trip to Millwall on Saturday after picking up an injury during England Under-21s’ 5-0 win over Lithuania on Tuesday night.
Carroll was replaced by Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson 16 minutes into the match, after a heavy challenge by Tomas Birskys, and later left the ground wearing a protective boot.
The on-loan Spurs youngster said on Twitter: “Gutted to have come off early tonight, hopefully it’s not too bad! #fatankle.”
Carroll has played four times for QPR this season, after securing a season-long loan move from Tottenham on transfer deadline day.
