Hundreds of residents paid tribute to members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty at a special Remembrance Sunday service in Wembley.

The annual event, which takes places across the UK and Commonwealth countries, commenced with a church service inside St John The Evangelist Church in Crawford Avenue.

A parade which included the laying of wreaths at a memorial site in Queen Elizabeth Gardens inside Braham Park in Subdury, took place afterwards.

Brent Council will be joining people all over the borough tomorrow by observing the two minute silence at 11am, on the 11th day of the 11th month, on the anniversary of the end of the Great War in 1918
