Soap star officially opens children’s playground
A SOAP star created a lather by being the guest of honour at the opening of a long-awaited school playground.
Nick Pickard swapped his script for a pair of scissors to cut the ribbon at the playground’s launch in St. Mary’s School in Kensal Road, Kensal Town, last week.
Nick, who has plays Tony Hutchinson in Channel Four’s Hollyoaks, gave the playground the thumbs up much to the delight of excited pupils and staff.
St Mary’s painstakingly raised the 35,000 for the renovation over a seven year period.
