FORMER QPR manager Ian Holloway will return to Loftus Road with his new club Blackpool on the first day of the new season.

Jim Magilton will take charge of his first competitive game against Blackpool on August 8, followed by a trip to Plymouth on August 15.

Alan Shearer's Newcastle side host Rangers at St James' Park on September 30, with other fallen Premier League giants Middles-brough coming to Loftus Road on December 5.

Rs fans will be glad to see a home clash on Boxing Day with Bristol City the visitors, while Magilton returns to his old club Ipswich Town on December 28.
