A personal trainer from Willesden Sports Centre had been jailed today (Friday) for her role in a plot to supply almost 9million worth of heroin, writes Lorraine King.
Snaresbrook Crown Court heard Marlene Nkore, 23, of Bridge Road, Wembley, had teamed up with 28-year-old Warren McFarlane to sell the drugs.
The pair were snared after McFarlane, who was under police surveillance, was caught with three kilograms of heroin after leaving Nkore's home in May this year.
Detectives swooped on her flat where they uncovered more of the class A drugs worth 8,824,200, scales and a machine for compressing the drug into blocks.
Nkore was sentenced to two-and-a-half years after admitting one count of possession with intent to supply heroin.
McFarlane, 28, from Felltham, Middlesex, will serve five years after being convicted of two counts of possession with intent to supply heroin.
