More residents from Brent are on the waiting list for an organ donation than any other borough in London.
Around 100 people the borough, mainly from the Asian and African Caribbean community desperately need a heart, lung, liver or kidney transplant.
The figures have been released today as part of National Transplant Week which highlights the need for more people to be on the organ donation register.
Statistically you’re more likely to need an organ transplant than become an organ donor.
To register as an organ donor takes less than two minutes and you can do it by visiting organdonation.nhs.uk.
