Residents in Brent are now able to see a GP in the evening or at the weekend through special “access hubs” which have been launched in the borough.

The new scheme guarantees that any patient who is registered with a GP will be offered an appointment at their nearest hub if their usual surgery is unable to see them within 48 hours.

Some hubs also offer nurse appointments if needed.

The hubs are located at:

Harness – northern hub at Wembley Health Centre, Chaplin Road, Wembley (Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri 6pm-9pm, Sat and Sun 9am-3pm).

Harness – southern hub at Harness Harlesden Practice, Hilltop Avenue, Stonebridge (Mon, Wed, Fri 6pm-9pm, Sat 9am-3pm).

Harness – central hub at Roundwood Park Medical Centre, Robson Avenue, Willesden (Tues 6pm-9pm and Sat 9am-1pm).

Kilburn hub at Kilburn Park Medical Centre, Cambridge Gardens, Kilburn (Mon to Wed 6pm-9pm)

Kilburn hub at Staverton Surgery, Staverton Road, Kilburn (Thurs to Fri 6pm-9pm, Sat 9am-3pm, Sun 9am-3pm).

Kingsbury and Willesden hub at The Welford Centre, Chalkhill Road, Wembley (Mon to Fri 6pm-9pm and Sun 9am-3pm).

Kingsbury and Willesden hub at Burnley Practice, Robson Avenue, Willesden (Mon to Fri 6pm-9pm and Sat 9am-3pm)

Kingsbury and Willesden hub at Kingsbury Health and Wellbeing, Stag Lane, Kingsbury (Mon, Weds 6pm-9pm and Sat 9am-12pm).

Wembley hub at Sudbury Primary Care Centre, Watford Road, Sudbury (Mon to Fri 6pm-9pm, Sat 9am-3pm and Sun 9am-3pm.)
