Harlesden High Street reopens after man taken to hospital

A man has been taken to hospital with a head injury after an incident in Harlesden.

Police were called to reports of an injured man in Harlesden High Street at 12.28am this morning.

Buses were diverted earlier after the street was closed by officers between Royal Oak traffic lights and Craven Park Road.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a north London hospital suffering from a head injury.

Officers do not know how he was hurt but said the injury was “non life threatening or life changing”.

Witnesses took to social media to find out answers with @VaniaFranco13 tweeting at 7pm on Tuesday evening: “#airambulance just landed in #harlesden anyone know what’s going on?”

Brent borough officers are now investigating the incident.

There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.
