The supplementary classes at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Brentfield Road, has won the accolade from the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE).
The school called ‘BAPS Children’s Forum’ offers a range activities including GCSE Gujarati which has a 100 per cent success rate with more than half of the students receiving a grade A or A*.
The school has 70 volunteers who teach 350 students and was previously given a gold award in 2012.
Kirit Wadia, lead volunteer, said: “We are very honoured and delighted to receive the gold award once again.
“The achievement is a testimony of the collective efforts from pupils, parents and all the staff.
“We are committed to providing a positive and rewarding learning environment and hope we can continue to build on this success in the years to come.”
