Four members of a notorious gang from Brent have been jailed today for stabbing two men in a vicious and random attack.

Julian McLeod, 33, of All Souls Avenue, Duane John-Baptiste, 27, of Ravensworth Road, both in Kensal Green, and brothers Pierre and Dean Alcendor, 25 and 28 respectively, from Northolt, were sentenced to a total of 39 years.

The Old Bailey heard all four were associated with the Kensal Green Boys (KGB) and had attacked their victims, both age 26, as they left a bar in the City of London in April this year at around 4am.

One of the victims suffered wounds to his head, back, leg and arms while the second was left with a serious cut across his face.

Both required life-saving treatment and surgery for their injuries.

City of London Police detectives established the attackers fled the scene in two cars and using CCTV they were able to identify registration numbers which led them directly back to all four.

They were arrested and later admitted carrying out the assault due to the huge amount of evidence against them.

All were convicted of grievous bodily harm.

The Alcendor brothers and John-Baptiste were sentenced to ten years McLeod received nine.

Detectives investigating the attack are still trying to trace a fifth man who has yet to be identified.

He is described as a black man in his 20s with a shaved head and was wearing beige trousers and a white t-shirt.

Detective Inspector Doug Blackwood said: “Whilst I am pleased with this sentencing, we are committed to locating the final suspect.

“I would urge anyone who can shed any light on who this person is and his whereabouts to get in contact.”
