Five arrested by cops probing Harlesden train station shooting
Victim was blasted with shotgun in station foyer
FIVE people have been arrested in connection with a shooting at Harlesden train station.
Detectives from the British Transport Police detained them over the weekend after a 27-year-old man was shot in the back last Wednesday (9).
The victim, who is from south London, was part of a group who had been visiting the borough to take part in a football project.
Investigating officers believe the group were targeted after clashing with local youths in a shop near the station.
As they entered the station foyer at round 2pm the victim was shot in the back with a shotgun.
Despite his injuries, he boarded a train and travelled to the next stop where he collapsed on the platform at Willesden Junction.
