A fire has ripped through the roof of a primary school in Willesden.
Pupils and staff of St Joseph’s Primary School, in Goodson Road, were safely evacuated after the caretaker raised the alarm just after 3pm today.
Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters are still at the scene trying to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesman for London Fire said: “All the children and staff were evacuated safely before we arrived. There are no reports of any injuries.
“We will investigate the cause as soon as we have put the fire out.”
