Fire crews deal with loft conversion blaze in Wembley

Fire crews were called to Wembley as a blaze tore through a property’s loft conversion.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters raced to the house in Lancelot Road at 11.40am this morning.

A spokesman said: “Part of the loft conversion was damaged. Firefighters managed to stop the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.”

There were no reports of any evacuations or injuries.

Crews from Wembley, Park Royal and Northolt had the flame under control by 12.26pm.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, he added.
