A mother and her two children are being treated for smoke inhalation in hospital following a fire at a hotel in Queen’s Park this afternoon.

Fire crews were called to the blaze in Salusbury Road at 12.33pm where all three had already left the building but needed medical treatment.

The second floor of the building was damaged by the fire which was under control at 1.53pm.

Three engines from Paddington and North Kensington and 14 fire-fighters and officers were at the scene.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
