Spurs fans face travel chaos as Bakerloo and Overground lines shut for Fulham game

Spurs fans are set to face a nightmare off the pitch later this month, as the London Overground and Bakerloo line will be shut during one of their games.

Both lines will be closed when they play Fulham on Saturday August 18 at Wembley.

The closures mean no services will be calling at Wembley Central.

Transport for London are advising fans to use the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines instead, and get off at Wembley Park.

A bus replacement service will run between Harrow and Wealdstone, and Queen’s Park.

A separate service will run between Paddington and Willesden Junction.

Supporters can also use the Chiltern Railways service between Marylebone and Wembley Stadium.

The fixture will be one of Spurs’ last at the national stadium, before moving back to their newly rebuilt White Hart Lane, in Tottenham.
