Medics rushed to Harlesden Plaza to find ‘victim’ was intoxicated
Police and ambulance crews raced to a car park in Harlesden after receiving reports of an assault only to find a man had fallen over drunk.
Medics and officers were called to Harlesden Plaza on Tavistock Road, yesterday at around 5am, after being told that a man had been beaten up.
As the emergency teams arrived, they received further calls telling them that a man had been spotted drunk and falling over onto a sharp metal pole.
The man, thought to be in his 60s, was treated at the scene by a doctor from the Air Ambulance and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, before being taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
