A man claiming to be a prince is being questioned after a body was found in a five-star hotel, the Times understands.
Police arrested the man, who claims to be a member of the Saudi Arabian royal family, after the grim discovery was made in a room in the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone Road, Marylebone, yesterday evening (Monday).
The 32-year-old man, who died of head injuries, is also Saudi Arabian and worked for the suspect, the Times has learned.
The hotel is a popular celebrity haunt where rooms cost more than �250 a night.
Detectives are refusing to name the dead man until they have informed his next of kin.
