Workmen are trying to fix the problem which started in Christchurch Avenue
Thames Water has issued an apology after a burst water pipe flooded parts of Kilburn High Road this morning.
Water levels of up to a metre deep were reported in some section of the busy thoroughfare after the pipes burst in nearby Christchurch Avenue at 5.30am.
Parts of Kilburn High Road were sectioned off to allow fire crews to lay down sandbags and pump the water out.
The road is now open but Thames water workers are trying to fix the pipe.
Thames Water said: “We’re really sorry to those affected.”
