A secondary school in Kilburn has had its sixth form placed in the top two per cent in the country.
Hampstead School in Westbere Road, has achieved the accolade for the progress that their students have made in post 16 studies.
The rating is given based on the last three years of exam results from 2011 to 2013.
Jacques Szemalikowski, the school’s headteacher, said: “We are extremely proud of the hard work that our students and staff put in to ensuring each individual student achieves their potential and this fantastic achievement reflects how we have gone from strength to strength.
“However we are not complacent and continue to improve and build on our success.”
