Primary school in Kingsbury in top 10 per cent in the country for reading, writing and maths

A primary school in Kingsbury has been placed in the top 10 per cent in the country for its ‘exceptional performance’ in reading, writing and maths.
St Robert Southwell Catholic Primary School in Slough Lane, has been recognised for its teaching which has resulted in its pupils achieving higher than the national average in Key Stage 2 in the three categories.
The accolade has been given by the Schools, Students and Teachers (SSAT) network.
Sue Williamson, chief executive of SSAT said: “It’s my great pleasure to commend St Robert Southwell Catholic Primary School on their excellent 2015 performance, and to have the opportunity to highlight and share their great work at the SSAT Educational Outcomes celebration event.”
SSAT is a network of schools that helps teachers to empower students academically.
