David Boakes hot steps it at the event hosted by the Central Kumon Study Centre
A group of youngsters were awarded for their educational achievements and entertained by a hot-footed Michael Jackson lookalike.
Students at the Central Kumon Study Centre in Stanley Avenue, Alperton, were presented with their medals and certificates by Cllr Michael Adeyeye, Mayor of Brent, which recognised their maths and English accomplishments.
Cllr Adeyeye told the 150 children at the awards: “I wish I could have been a Kumon student when I was growing up.”
The centre offers an after-school education using the Kumon method of learning which developed in 1954 by Japanese teacher Toru Kumon.
