Creative Brent schoolpupils boost community spirit by designing Jubilee and Olympics posters

Winning creations are on display in Sudbury

Creative pupils designed nearly 300 posters celebrating the Jubilee and Olympics to boost community spirit.

The Sudbury Town Residents Association asked children at Sudbury Primary School in Watford Road, Sudbury, to come up with designs.

Brent MP Barry Gardiner handed out prizes last Friday to Bailey Whiting, aged seven, (overall winner) Eva Akimyema, six, Vimujama Nadith, 10, Issa Akabah, 10, and Niyati Patel, nine.

The posters are on display at Alice’s Hairdressers in Watford Road, Sudbury.
