A free activity-filled careers event is being held by a Wembley college for all those interested in discovering job opportunities.

More than 20 career paths will be showcased at The College of North West London Skills Show, taking place at the College’s Willesden campus in Dudden Hill Lane on March 18, from 9am to 5pm.

The event is open to anyone in the community regardless of their age who will get the opportunity to learn more about careers such as engineering, construction, robotics, hairdressing, healthcare, photography, motor vehicle maintenance, beauty or forensic science through a range of activities and competitions.

Visitors can try their hand at plastering, painting & decorating, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical installation and carpentry or they can watch the experts in action, undertaking professional challenges like the quick brick trick and speedy plastering time trials.

Employers and industry bodies exhibiting at the event include City & Guilds, Royal Navy Engineering, Advanced Engineering, Eltham Welding Supplies and St George.
