Anson Primary School is also marking its 60th birthday
A Cricklewood primary school enjoyed a double celebration as they marked their 60th birthday alongside the Diamond Jubilee.
Anson Primary School in Anson Road, held a street party, a special assembly and an array of exciting activities attended by pupils, staff and parents.
Jeff Smith, headteacher, said: “The nursery children baked 260 cupcakes, one for every child that started school in 1952 and iced them to produce a magnificent Union Jack flag.”
