A cyclist has died after a crash with a lorry on Cricklewood Broadway.

The 23-year-old man was involved in the accident with a blue Mercedes lorry on Cricklewood Broadway at the junction with Depot Approach, at 11.15am on Saturday.

Both were travelling south on the road when they collided causing severe injuries to the cyclist.

The man was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, east London, by air ambulance but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The lorry driver stopped at the scene but no arrests were made.

The victim has been identified by police but next of kin are yet to be informed.
