A man from Willesden has been charged with a terrorist offence related to an attempt to travel to Syria.
Patrick Kabele, 32, of High Road, is charged with the preparation of terrorist acts, namely attempting to travel to Syria, contrary to section 5(1)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Kabele was arrested on Wednesday in Willesden by terrorism officers.
He was charged yesterday and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
