A man has been charged with the murder of Abdul Hadi Arwani who was shot dead in his car in Wembley.
The Syrian-born imam was found with gunshot wounds to the chest in his VW Passat in The Greenhill, at the junction of The Paddocks, last Tuesday morning.
The Crown Prosecution Service has announced that Leslie Cooper, 36, of Nightingale Road, Harlesden, has been charged with the father-of-six’s murder.
He will appear before Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court at 2pm.
