A vicious thug from Wembley who hit a workman twice over the head with a metal bar in a brutal attack has been jailed.
Stelian Otelita, 44, of Preston Road, carried out his assault on his 34-year-old victim on a trading estate in East Lane, North Wembley, on May 21 this year.
Harrow Crown Court heard he was arrested after witnesses were able to identify him and provide his details to police.
Last week he was sentenced to three years and four months after he admitted wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
DC Lewis West from Brent CID said: “Stelian Otelita is a dangerous male who committed a terrifying ordeal for his victim. Brent Police want the public to know we will robustly investigate any violent crime and the sentence handed out shows that the offenders will be bought to justice. “
