A violent robber who targeted three women in Neasden in one day is facing years behind bars.

Kamil Bitdorf, 23, carried out his brutal attacks in on May 4 this year targeting his victims in close proximity.

Harrow Crown Court heard his first victim was sexually assaulted after he pushed her into the stairwell of a car park near Brent Park bus station.

After she managed to escape he attacked a second woman as she walked through an alleyway leading to Brendon Avenue.

She was grabbed from behind and dragged along the ground before he strangled her to stop her screaming. He then ran off.

Bitdorf’s last victim was walking in a subway near Neasden underground station when he grabbed her from behind and held in a bear hug.

He ran off when another woman walked into the subway.

He was arrested by officers who were patrolling the area following reports of the two previous attacks.

He was identified as the man who had carried out the sexual assault through CCTV footage taken at the bus station.

During his police interview he denied all three attacks were sexually motivated.

Last week, he admitted one count of assault by strangulation with intent to rob and one count of assault with intent to rob.

He denied one count of sexual assault but was convicted following a four-day trial.

He will be sentenced on November 20.

Det Con Karen Beck, investigating officer, said: “We welcome this result at court. Bitdorf is a violent individual who has committed a catalogue of serious offences against three female victims.

“I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the strength and character shown by the victims. I hope that the convictions and subsequent sentencing will provide some form of closure for them.”
