Police have launched separate murder investigations after two young men were fatally stabbed in Kentish Town last night.
Emergency services were called to Bartholomew Road at 8.30pm yesterday to reports of a teenager suffering stab injuries.
Police provided first aid prior but the victim, believed to be in his late teens, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers believe they know the identity of the teenager but await formal identification.
And at 10.15pm yesterday police were called to Malden Road, near the junction with Marsden Street.
They found a man, believed to be in his 20s, suffering serious stab injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries are underway to confirm his identity and inform next of kin.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have launched separate murder investigations.
As yet there have been no arrests.
A spokesman said urgent enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances and identify if there are any links between the two incidents.
Additional police were on patrol across Camden, with borough officers who were due to complete their shifts on Tuesday continuing to work into Wednesday morning.
A Section 60 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act order was also authorised for the whole of Camden borough until Wednesday morning.
The order allows police to stop and search anyone whether or not they suspect the person of carrying a weapon.

“Violence has no place on our streets and these crimes are a reminder that we must continue to do all we can to keep our community safe.
“That’s why I will be working with the Metropolitan Police, Camden Council and all relevant authorities to reassure our communities and discuss what more needs to be done.”
