Aspiring footballer Saif Abdul-Magid suffered knife wounds following an incident on Tanfield Avenue shortly before 4pm on October 6.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, they were unable to save Saif, and he died at the scene.

Police said a post-mortem examination showed that he died of multiple stab wounds.

Friends of the victim, believed to be a former pupil at The Capital city Academy, in Willesden, have set up two gofundme pages to support Saif’s family.

‘Saif’s world’ has raised more than £2,500 of its £10,000 target.

The message on the page reads: “I have built up this page to donate to his mother who has just lost their son at a young age.

“This is to help them fund their funeral. Saif’s life was tragically taken away.

“He was such a lovely person who was loved in school and the community, he didn’t deserve to die.”

A second fundraising page titled ‘Build water well in tribute to Saif’ has also been created.

Organisers hope to raise £3,500 to build a well in Sudan.

The page describes Saif, from Ealing, as: “A kind-hearted, funny and honest person who would always make you smile.

“His aspirations to become a footballer and help his family and friends were high, but unfortunately he cannot fulfill his dreams.

“Being good friends with Saif, this unforeseen tragedy has affected me as it has his other friends and the community.”

The page says that the mother and sister of Saif have requested the well be “built under Saif’s name along with his everlasting spirit, in hope that everytime the well is used, Saif will be rewarded for it.”

Saif’s friends gathered in Tanfield Avenue on Saturday to pay their respects, and floral tributes have been laid at the scene.

Tributes on social media also poured in.

Two 14 year old boys who were arrested at the weekend have been charged with Saif’s murder and were due to appear at Wimbledon Youth Court today.

A 15 year old boy who was arrested on October 7 in connection with the stabbing has been released on police bail.
