A teenager has admitted killing a man in an attack involving a 19-year-old from Kenton who was subsequently jailed for nine years.

Chukwurunim Dexter Ozour, 19, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 20-year-old Mahad Mohammed who was stabbed to death in Battersea, south London, in July last year.

Omar Harrison, 19, of Kenmore Road, was convicted of Mr Mohammed’s manslaughter at an Old Bailey trial in June this year.

Jermaine Sawyers, 19, and Cori Lindsey, 18, both of no fixed address, were c found guilty of murder and jailed for life with a minimum tariff of 20 and 14 years, respectively.

Jurors had heard residents on the Winstanley Estate, where Mr Mohammed was attacked, were woken up by the sounds of shouting and his cries for help.

Witnesses recalling him running away while heavily bleeding before collapsing.

Mr Mohammed had been to a bar in Streatham with his brother and at the end of their evening he drove them home where on route he stopped at a convenience store so his brother could buy cigarettes.

All four men were outside the store and Sawyers approached the victim and they arranged to meet later.

Mr Mohammed dropped his brother and friend to their homes and drove his Audi to the estate where he was killed.

A post mortem result showed he had been stabbed four times in his back, hip, chest and neck.

Ozour pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey on Friday.

He will be sentenced on November 22.
