A man from Stonebridge who was found hiding a knife between his buttocks has been sent to jail.
Jamaal Greenland, 23, of Shelly Road, was discovered clenching the weapon after the car he was driving was stopped by police in Chalkhill Road, Wembley, after it ignored a request to pullover in nearby Saxon Road.
The knife was uncovered during a strip search.
He was jailed for 26 weeks at Hendon Magistrates’ Court after he admitted possessing an offensive weapon.
Sergeant Steven Braithwaite from Brent Gangs Unit said: “This sentence sends out a clear message to those who are contemplating carrying knives and committing crime in Brent.”
