Three men from Shepherd’s Bush have been convicted of carrying out a series of gunpoint robberies in brothels across Brent.

Faisal Masood, 18, Melchezedic Williams, 19, and 45-year-old Amjad Masood, all of Goldhawk Road, targeted 16 bordellos in the borough between March 12 and June 26 last year.

They were arrested by detectives who raided their addresses shortly after their final robbery.

Investigating officers interviewed nearly 100 witnesses, seized more than 400 exhibits and around 6,000 telephone numbers during their enquiries.

A majority of witnesses were foreign nationals who were traced using Interpol and flown back to the UK to give evidence at the men’s trial.

Last month at Harrow Crown Court all three were found guilty of one count of conspiracy to rob and Faisal Massod was also convicted of one count of possession of an imitation firearm

Amjad Masood and Williams were additionally convicted of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

They will be sentenced on January 30.
